JoAnn Edick shows everyone the 10 inches of hair that had just been cut to donate to Locks of Love.
Part of the crew for the 6th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon at The River on November 14, 2011.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
It is turkey time!
Lots of ways to serve the Lord!
We had a packed house!
Susan gave a devotion reminding us that even when we are overwhelmed we need to remember that we are also overshadowed by God's love that never leaves us!
Ms. Ruby, Melinda and her Aunt, Katrina and son Hayden, Debbie and Jatu listen to devotions.
Lisa, Margaret with baby Victoria on board, Sandy and Telina await the lunch!
What a delicious meal: turkey, cranberry salad, stuffing, roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and squash casserole with a pumpkin cupcake for dessert.

On Novemebr 14th The River held its 6th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon for over 30 guests. The same group of angels haved blessed us year after year! This blessing card was given to each guest and was created by the residents at John Reed Nursing Home where The Joyful Noise River Choir sings several times a year.
