River Choir & Lisa Ling

On March
1, 2012 The Joyful Noise River Choir of The River Ministry for Women performed
Blackbird and I'll Fly Away at the East Tennessee Foundation's First Annual
Women's Fund Luncheon at the Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee. The
mission of the Women's Fund is to serve as a catalyst to transform the lives of
low-income women and girls in East Tennesee. This special choral performance
for the inaugural luncheon served to recognize the founders of the Women's Fund
and welcome guest speaker Lisa Ling. Journalist Lisa Ling is best known for
co-hosting The View, as a field correspondent for The Oprah Winfrey Show and
contributor to ABC News' Nightline and National Geographic's Explorer. Currently
she has her own series on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, titled Our America
